The referee showed Klas Malmberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Söderhall booed when Blue Boys Predators was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Klas Malmberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. José Chilavert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Calle Askberg in the 18th minute of the match. José Chilavert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Calle Askberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Calle Askberg put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of José Chilavert. In the 31st minute, Sten Lund made a precise shot to the right of José Chilavert. Blue Boys Predators's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Sten Lund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Söderhall made a substitution. Alf Gudmundsson replaced Bengt Lenberg. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kasper Lindell stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. José Chilavert stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Calle Askberg's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. When the match clock showed 59 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Calle Askberg sped through Blue Boys Predators's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of José Chilavert. The audience was convinced that Calle Askberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but José Chilavert was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game.
