Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Oscar Beckman started the match with the kick off. Michel Skräddare recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 2nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 10 minutes, Urban Stenström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AIK FOTBOLL's supporters crossed their fingers, but Urban Stenström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tord Jakobsson succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 12th playminute. AIK FOTBOLL's defense didn't have a chance, in the 19th minute, when Patrik Holm scored to the left of an out of position Ivar Rolfsson, making the score, 2-0. After a rather tough play, Cheetah Team's Michel Skräddare got a free kick in the 21st minute. Ivar Rolfsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrick Möllgren in the 25th minute of play. Bengt Ånger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oscar Beckman in the 28th minute of play. In the 31st minute Oscar Beckman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bengt Ånger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 32 minutes of play, Cheetah Team's Tord Jakobsson made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ivar Rolfsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Patrik Holm got free with Ivar Rolfsson in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 39 minutes, Börge Örtendahl mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AIK FOTBOLL and the Cheetah Team players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 39th minute of the game. One of AIK FOTBOLL:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Cheetah Team:s goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stefan Mårtensson in the 44th minute of play forced Cheetah Team's goalkeeper Bengt Ånger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 52nd minute, Agne Bergfelt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Conny Martinsson was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 54 minutes into the match. In the 55th match minute, AIK FOTBOLL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Conny Martinsson to maneuver through the defense. In the 61st minute, Stefan Mårtensson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ivar Rolfsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tord Jakobsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. If Nils-Erik Brogren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Andreas Colin during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 72nd minute, one of AIK FOTBOLL:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for AIK FOTBOLL. In the 81st minute, Dan Lundström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 83 minutes, Nils-Erik Brogren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AIK FOTBOLL's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nils-Erik Brogren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Tord Jakobsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Nils-Erik Brogren came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the AIK FOTBOLL fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nils-Erik Brogren couldn't finish the play. AIK FOTBOLL's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
