Freddie Söderlund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albin Stolpe in the 18th minute of the match. When Douglas Ahlstedt came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Porjus fans jumped to their feet. Freddie Söderlund came out of the goal and Douglas Ahlstedt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albin Stolpe in the 31st minute of play forced Kind of Blue's goalkeeper Freddie Söderlund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Douglas Ahlstedt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albin Stolpe in the 40th minute of play forced Kind of Blue's goalkeeper Freddie Söderlund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Albin Stolpe struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Freddie Söderlund didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Porjus. When Ivan Ström fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Porjus's protests and gave Ivan Ström a yellow card for diving instead. Ivan Ström hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Måns Eliasson acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 48th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Knut Blom. The Kind of Blue players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Porjus were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Freddie Söderlund made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Albin Stolpe sent off a good shot on target. In the 68th minute, Fredric Botvidsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kind of Blue fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Kind of Blue's Freddie Söderlund proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Kind of Blue from getting a goal against them. In the 75th minute Kurt Åkesson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Freddie Söderlund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 78th minute, Fredric Botvidsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kind of Blue fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Måns Eliasson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Allan Vinström, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. After 90 played minutes Kind of Blue got a freekick which was hit by Allan Vinström.
