The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ivar Rolfsson didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Kind of Blue's Fredric Botvidsson shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-1 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 14th minute Allan Vinström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivar Rolfsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Allan Vinström in the 16th minute of play forced AIK FOTBOLL's goalkeeper Ivar Rolfsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 25 minutes, Örjan Kaxe mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AIK FOTBOLL and the Kind of Blue players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Knut Blom in the 26th minute of play forced AIK FOTBOLL's goalkeeper Ivar Rolfsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Kind of Blue getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Eddie Sandell hit a great ball. The supporters of Kind of Blue booed when AIK FOTBOLL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Urban Stenström didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 36th minute, Nils-Erik Brogren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ivar Rolfsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Allan Vinström's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. 42 minutes into the game, Oscar Beckman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Freddie Söderlund was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Stefan Mårtensson managed to get in a good position for a shot. AIK FOTBOLL's supporters rose to their feet, but Stefan Mårtensson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Freddie Söderlund breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fredric Botvidsson in the 47th minute of play forced AIK FOTBOLL's goalkeeper Ivar Rolfsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Allan Vinström stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Jens-Ove Käcker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jens-Ove Käcker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivar Rolfsson having to interfere. Allan Vinström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Ivar Rolfsson made a huge save. In the 56th minute, Kind of Blue's Fredric Botvidsson ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ivar Rolfsson. Ivar Rolfsson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. In the 62nd match minute, Kind of Blue was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kristian Käcker to maneuver through the defense. Fredric Botvidsson charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fredric Botvidsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Fredric Botvidsson hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Kind of Blue's Freddie Söderlund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nils-Erik Brogren in the 64th minute of play. After 68 minutes, Kristian Käcker mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kind of Blue and the AIK FOTBOLL players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 70th minute, Marko Holmstedt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oscar Beckman in the 75th minute of play forced Kind of Blue's goalkeeper Freddie Söderlund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Freddie Söderlund came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by AIK FOTBOLL's Stefan Mårtensson. But to his dismay, Stefan Mårtensson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. 81 minutes into the game, Fredric Botvidsson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ivar Rolfsson. Fredric Botvidsson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. The crowd rose to their feet as Jens-Ove Käcker kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ivar Rolfsson. That made the score 2-4 in the 85 minute of play. 91 minutes into the game, Allan Vinström recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ivar Rolfsson. Allan Vinström showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-5. Allan Vinström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Kind of Blue eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
