Spectators: 153 (Terracing: 115, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Hammarby Gård's Markus Holmgren started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th play minute Markus Holmgren came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Evert Wennerquist. 1-0. Malcolm Jakobsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Björn Ugla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ralf Skröder during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Hammarby Gård's Ralf Skröder got a free kick in the 10th minute. Malcolm Jakobsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jens-Ove Gustafsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, VfL Wolfsburg's Evert Wennerquist got control of the ball when Oskar Enegren tried to sneak it across the goal line. 20 minutes into the game, Björn Ugla cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Malcolm Jakobsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Evert Wennerquist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oskar Enegren, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. After 26 played minutes VfL Wolfsburg got a freekick which was hit by Emil Sörman. 28 minutes into the match, VfL Wolfsburg's goalkeeper Evert Wennerquist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Markus Holmgren. Malcolm Jakobsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Björn Ugla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Markus Holmgren took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Evert Wennerquist to make any attempt to save it. Oskar Enegren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. VfL Wolfsburg's Evert Wennerquist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan-Olof Sundström in the 39th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 42 minutes, Jan-Olof Sundström took a quick shot and it went in 4-1 without a chance for Evert Wennerquist to make any attempt to save it. In the 45th minute Jan-Olof Sundström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evert Wennerquist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Björn Ugla made a kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Markus Holmgren cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Evert Wennerquist was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Hammarby Gård getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Jens-Åke Wennerquist hit a great ball. 57 minutes into the match, Hammarby Gård's goalkeeper Malcolm Jakobsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Björn Ugla. 61 minutes into the match, VfL Wolfsburg's goal looked a bit too open when Markus Holmgren came free, but Evert Wennerquist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Björn Ugla succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 5-2 in the 70th playminute. VfL Wolfsburg's Evert Wennerquist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Markus Holmgren in the 74th minute of play. Malcolm Jakobsson made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Jens-Ove Gustafsson sent off a good shot on target. John Gallberg hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. The supporters of VfL Wolfsburg booed when Hammarby Gård was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan-Olof Sundström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Björn Ugla scored 5-3 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Malcolm Jakobsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Jens-Ove Gustafsson, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 86 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Malcolm Jakobsson was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Malcolm Jakobsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucas Gudmundsson in the 89th minute of the match. John Gallberg hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Björn Ugla received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Malcolm Jakobsson came out and tried to block the shot, but Björn Ugla slotted it home off the left post making it 5-4 in the 92nd minute. In the 96th minute Markus Holmgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evert Wennerquist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
