Spectators: 151 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gunnar Asmundsson started the match with the kick off. Stig Palmquist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gunnar Asmundsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 8 minutes into the match, Garsås IF's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathan Engström came free, but Ludvig Olofsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gunnar Asmundsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jonas Gunnarsson hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. A throw-in in the 18th minute of the game was made by Jonas Gunnarsson with Douglas Källberg as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Erik Sjöman in the 29th minute of play forced Garsås IF's goalkeeper Ludvig Olofsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gunnar Asmundsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Stig Palmquist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. Jonas Gunnarsson charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jonas Gunnarsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jonas Gunnarsson kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Stig Palmquist made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Gunnar Asmundsson sent off a good shot on target.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sven-Erik Sjöman was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Överås BK's goalkeeper Stig Palmquist, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ludvig Olofsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Melker Låsberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. After some careless play in the Garsås IF defense, Sven-Erik Sjöman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ludvig Olofsson. The Garsås IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ludvig Olofsson should have stopped the shot. Isak Hägglund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Garsås IF's Gunnar Asmundsson in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Överås BK's goalie prevented a goal. In the 68th minute Gunnar Asmundsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stig Palmquist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stig Palmquist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gunnar Asmundsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Garsås IF's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Hjalmar Hägglund in the 75th minute. The corner led Garsås IF's Hjalmar Hägglund to fire away a dangerous shot which Stig Palmquist despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 76 minutes, Stellan Hansson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Garsås IF and the Överås BK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Stig Palmquist came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Garsås IF's Gunnar Asmundsson. But to his dismay, Gunnar Asmundsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Garsås IF's Gunnar Asmundsson got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 94 played minutes Garsås IF got a freekick which was hit by Hjalmar Hägglund.
