Tor Trillkott fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Björn Rudqvist having to interfere. Jimmy Tunberg's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 6thth minute, Rutger Cane skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 14th minute, Tor Trillkott hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Oskar Svanér received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Rutger Cane tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 26 minutes, Tor Trillkott mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Stakbröte and the Slipmaskinerna players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 26 played minutes Stakbröte got a freekick which was hit by Tor Trillkott. Robin Asserlindh could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Rutger Cane made a huge save. 28 minutes into the match, Slipmaskinerna's goal looked a bit too open when Per-Åke Grönlund came free, but Björn Rudqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th minute of the match Hjalmar Odman sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rutger Cane skillfully saved the ball. Rutger Cane showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Konrad Valström, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Thanks to some nice moves Robin Asserlindh could shoot a difficult shot in the 43rd minute, which Rutger Cane however easily saved by the left post. Stakbröte's Kim Ahlberg managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Henning Hjortberg in the 45 minute of the game. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

After 54 minutes of play, Slipmaskinerna's Konrad Valström made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rutger Cane was left in no man's land by his defense there! 67 minutes into the match, Stakbröte's goal looked a bit too open when Robin Asserlindh came free, but Rutger Cane reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rutger Cane showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Konrad Valström, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. 74 minutes into the match, Stakbröte's goal looked a bit too open when Konrad Valström came free, but Rutger Cane reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Konrad Valström in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rutger Cane saved Stakbröte from getting behind. Algot Danielsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Björn Rudqvist made a huge save. 86 minutes into the match, Slipmaskinerna's goal looked a bit too open when Per-Åke Grönlund came free, but Björn Rudqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rutger Cane took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Konrad Valström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Algot Danielsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stakbröte's supporters rose to their feet, but Algot Danielsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Björn Rudqvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Stakbröte's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
