An unexpectedly hard shot by Ralf Wennerqvist in the 6th minute of play forced Karen FC's goalkeeper Bengt-Åke Smitt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bengt-Åke Smitt didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joseph Lind went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The supporters of IFK Tallkotte booed when Karen FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teddi Bjørn didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 17th minute of the match Michael Hydén sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bengt-Åke Smitt skillfully saved the ball. Bengt-Åke Smitt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ralf Wennerqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Bengt-Åke Smitt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ralf Wennerqvist in the 21st minute of play. Bengt-Åke Smitt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Staffan Ekström in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 24th minute Johan Arvidsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bengt-Åke Smitt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th minute of the match IFK Tallkotte got a corner. Karen FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Michael Hydén ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Ludwig Östlund heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Michael Hydén's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bengt-Åke Smitt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Bengt-Åke Smitt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ralf Wennerqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Staffan Ekström came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the IFK Tallkotte fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Staffan Ekström couldn't finish the play. In the 37th minute, Michael Hydén got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bengt-Åke Smitt came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by IFK Tallkotte's Joseph Lind. But to his dismay, Joseph Lind quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 42nd minute Ralf Wennerqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bengt-Åke Smitt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 47th minute Staffan Ekström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bengt-Åke Smitt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.
The wind increased when Fred-Marc Richter made the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Karen FC got a freekick which was hit by Leif Sundén. Staffan Ekström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 54th minute, Ludwig Östlund got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. IFK Tallkotte's Staffan Ekström was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 62nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. The supporters of IFK Tallkotte booed when Karen FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrian Hedkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Michael Hydén could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Bengt-Åke Smitt made a huge save. Joseph Lind struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Bengt-Åke Smitt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for IFK Tallkotte. In the 78th minute of the match, Ralf Wennerqvist tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Bengt-Åke Smitt saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Joseph Lind received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Bengt-Åke Smitt came out and tried to block the shot, but Joseph Lind slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 79th minute. In the 87th minute, Rasmus Ahlqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Karen FC's Bengt-Åke Smitt got control of the ball when Ralf Wennerqvist tried to sneak it across the goal line. 91 minutes into the match, Karen FC's goal looked a bit too open when Johan Arvidsson came free, but Bengt-Åke Smitt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Calle Wanner charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Calle Wanner the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of IFK Tallkotte booed when Karen FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Calle Wanner didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle sounded IFK Tallkotte left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Karen FC.
