Spectators: 153 (Terracing: 115, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Leo Ekeroth kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 5 minutes, Osvald Bock took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Bengt-Åke Smitt to make any attempt to save it. Sture Ödmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fred-Marc Richter in the 9th minute of play. Fred-Marc Richter scored 1-2 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sture Ödmann, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 22 minutes into the game, Johnny Albohm recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bengt-Åke Smitt. Johnny Albohm showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. A collision led to Auktsjaur IF getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Leif Åhman hit a great ball. Sture Ödmann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Calle Wanner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34th minute Calle Wanner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sture Ödmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Johnny Albohm could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Bengt-Åke Smitt made a huge save. The supporters of Auktsjaur IF booed when Karen FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leif Sundén didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 41st minute Osvald Bock shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bengt-Åke Smitt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sture Ödmann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bengt Bergkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Fred-Marc Richter made the kick off in the second half. Johnny Albohm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bengt-Åke Smitt having to interfere. Karen FC made a substitution. Michel Henriksson replaced Bengt-Arne Pihlberg. Sture Ödmann came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Karen FC's Fred-Marc Richter. But to his dismay, Fred-Marc Richter quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Joar Bröms hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Sture Ödmann made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bengt Bergkvist in the 66th minute. 67 minutes into the match, Karen FC's goal looked a bit too open when Johnny Albohm came free, but Bengt-Åke Smitt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bengt-Åke Smitt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johnny Albohm in the 68th minute of play. 72 minutes into the game, Osvald Bock was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Auktsjaur IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Karen FC the free kick. In the 72nd match minute, Auktsjaur IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Osvald Bock to maneuver through the defense. Karen FC's Bengt-Åke Smitt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osvald Bock in the 78th minute of play. In the 80th minute Johnny Albohm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bengt-Åke Smitt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sture Ödmann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mats Asklund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 82 minutes, Håkan Spetz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Karen FC and the Auktsjaur IF players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 85 minutes Karen FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Leif Åhman who took care of the corner kick. In the 87th minute Auktsjaur IF were awarded a corner. Leif Åhman went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Auktsjaur IF's corner Leif Åhman fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Bengt-Åke Smitt quite easily take care of the ball. After some careless play in the Karen FC defense, Johnny Albohm kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bengt-Åke Smitt. The Karen FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bengt-Åke Smitt should have stopped the shot.
