Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Kåre Sjögren started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the game, Kåre Sjögren lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Hampus Sjöberg. Torbjörn Sjöberg scored 1-1 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Olov Stephansson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rätan IF's Olov Stephansson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonardo Sjöberg in the 24th minute of play. In the 26th minute, Martin Walroth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 28 minutes into the game, Sjötorp IF's George Ström nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Olov Stephansson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Olov Stephansson came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Sjötorp IF's George Ström. But to his dismay, George Ström quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Torbjörn Sjöberg charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Torbjörn Sjöberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 38th match minute, Sjötorp IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Torbjörn Sjöberg to maneuver through the defense. 40 minutes into the match, Sjötorp IF's goal looked a bit too open when Kåre Sjögren came free, but Hampus Sjöberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olov Stephansson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leonardo Sjöberg went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-5 was the resulting score. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-5 lead.

Olov Stephansson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from George Ström, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Dag Broman charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dag Broman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 56 played minutes Sjötorp IF got a freekick which was hit by Dag Broman. After a defensive mix-up in Sjötorp IF's zone, Axel Jonasson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hampus Sjöberg came out of the goal and Axel Jonasson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dag Broman lost his temper 59 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 59th minute of the game. One of Sjötorp IF:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Rätan IF:s goal. 64 minutes into the game, Per-Åke Sandberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rätan IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sjötorp IF the free kick. In the 64th match minute, Rätan IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Per-Åke Sandberg to maneuver through the defense. Hampus Sjöberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kåre Sjögren in the 70th minute of the match. If Torbjörn Sjöberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 81 minutes into the game, Torbjörn Sjöberg recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Olov Stephansson. Torbjörn Sjöberg showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-6. After 86 played minutes Sjötorp IF got a freekick which was hit by Carl Askberg. When the final whistle sounded Sjötorp IF left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Rätan IF.
