Olov Stephansson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Åhus Absolut F.C. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivar Larsfält in the 11th minute of play forced Rätan IF's goalkeeper Olov Stephansson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th minute, Kåre Sjögren ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Douglas Källberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. A collision led to Rätan IF getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Martin Walroth hit a great ball. In the 23rd minute Johnny Broman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olov Stephansson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rätan IF's Olov Stephansson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johnny Broman in the 29th minute of play. Olov Stephansson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joakim Nässén in the 31st minute of the match. Olov Stephansson was out of position in the 35 minute of play, and Hannes Fernkvist capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Hannes Fernkvist really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. If Per Hedling had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Rätan IF's Per-Åke Sandberg got a free kick in the 46th minute. Åhus Absolut F.C's Maximilian Apelkvist couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 47th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Rätan IF.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Maximilian Apelkvist made a kick off. In the 58th minute, Maximilian Apelkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Olov Stephansson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johnny Broman in the 62nd minute of play. Olov Stephansson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Johnny Broman went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. After 68 played minutes, Åhus Absolut F.C's Maximilian Apelkvist shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Olov Stephansson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Åhus Absolut F.C reached it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maximilian Apelkvist in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Olov Stephansson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Olov Stephansson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximilian Apelkvist in the 81st minute of the match. In the 82nd minute, Johnny Broman made a precise shot to the right of Olov Stephansson. Rätan IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. Mathias Pilberg kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Rune Helström's late challenge caught a Rätan IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rune Helström helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Åhus Absolut F.C getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Rune Helström hit a great ball. Åhus Absolut F.C's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
