Inge Glad struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Melker Barck didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for IFK Hedemora. After 6 played minutes Billesholm got a freekick which was hit by Oskar Kilman. In the 7th minute Jimmie Jansson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melker Barck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 12 minutes of play, Billesholm's Tony Hedberg made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Elliot Berglund was left in no man's land by his defense there! Melker Barck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jens-Ove Björkkvist in the 23rd minute of the match. Elliot Berglund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johan Pihlblad in the 24th minute of play. After 27 minutes of play, Billesholm's Tony Hedberg made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Elliot Berglund was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 32nd minute, one of Billesholm:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Billesholm. When the match had been going on for 34 minutes, IFK Hedemora's Jens-Ove Björkkvist got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Melker Barck. The supporters of IFK Hedemora booed when Billesholm was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan Fagerberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 39th minute Inge Glad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melker Barck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Melker Barck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jimmie Jansson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Melker Barck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Inge Glad in the 42nd minute of play. After 45 played minutes Billesholm got a freekick which was hit by Stig-Ove Odman. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jimmie Jansson to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute, Kenny Wallin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Melker Barck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Uno Erserman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, IFK Hedemora's Elliot Berglund got control of the ball when Oskar Kilman tried to sneak it across the goal line. Elliot Berglund was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Kenny Wallin showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 57 minute of play. 66 minutes into the match, IFK Hedemora's goalkeeper Elliot Berglund had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kenny Wallin. A collision led to IFK Hedemora getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Stig-Ove Josefsson hit a great ball. In the 69th minute, Johan Pihlblad got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Herman Åkerman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Elliot Berglund made a huge save. If Johan Pihlblad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 78th minute, Johan Pihlblad left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Billesholm fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. The supporters of IFK Hedemora booed when Billesholm was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ingmar Blomberg didn't get a good kick on the ball.
