The crowd rose to their feet as Öjeby IF's Kurt Söderström slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sven-Oskar Strömberg. That made the score 2-0 after 28 minutes of play. Karl Mårtensson hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. After 33 minutes, Kurt Söderström made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Jörlanda's Sven-Oskar Strömberg tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 39 played minutes Öjeby IF got a freekick which was hit by Mattias Pedersson. Karl Mårtensson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agne Joensson having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

After 53 minutes of play, Öjeby IF's Charlie Lindgren made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sven-Oskar Strömberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! 58 minutes into the match, Öjeby IF's goalkeeper Agne Joensson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Karl Mårtensson. Öjeby IF's Agne Joensson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl Mårtensson in the 61st minute of play. After having played for 63 minutes, Kurt Söderström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Öjeby IF fully deserved thier win.
