Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Charlie Lind got the match started through his kick off. Kurt Björkman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 6 minutes, Tony Brun managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Öjeby IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tony Brun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Reine Molander hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. 10 minutes into the game, Segmon IF's Kaj Åberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Agne Joensson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Agne Joensson was a little too slow when Jens-Ove Axelsson got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 15th minute. The score was now 2-0. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Jens-Ove Axelsson took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Agne Joensson to make any attempt to save it. Thomas Ravelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kurt Söderström in the 34th minute of play. Öjeby IF's Agne Joensson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jens-Ove Axelsson in the 36th minute of play. After some careless play in the Öjeby IF defense, Jens-Ove Axelsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Agne Joensson. The Öjeby IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Agne Joensson should have stopped the shot. Thomas Ravelli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kurt Söderström in the 43rd minute of the match. Agne Joensson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jens-Ove Axelsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. In the 46th match minute, Segmon IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reine Molander to maneuver through the defense. In the 47th minute, Tony Brun sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Segmon IF's Thomas Ravelli didn't even have to move.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kurt Söderström was the one to do the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Öjeby IF's Kurt Söderström slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Thomas Ravelli. That made the score 4-1 after 52 minutes of play. In the 56th minute, Kaj Åberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Agne Joensson was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. Kurt Söderström struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Thomas Ravelli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Öjeby IF. Charlie Lind fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agne Joensson having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Öjeby IF's Charlie Lindgren got a free kick in the 65th minute. After 65 played minutes, Segmon IF's Reine Molander shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Agne Joensson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Segmon IF reached it. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Bernt Henriksson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Segmon IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernt Henriksson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Agne Joensson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 70 minutes into the game, Charlie Lind cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-1. Agne Joensson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Charlie Lindgren hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Öjeby IF's Agne Joensson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jens-Ove Axelsson in the 77th minute of play. 80 minutes into the game, Charlie Lindgren was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Öjeby IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Segmon IF the free kick. In the 80th minute, Charlie Lindgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 82nd match minute, Segmon IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernt Henriksson to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Segmon IF's zone, Charlie Lindgren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thomas Ravelli came out of the goal and Charlie Lindgren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Segmon IF's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
