Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Edwin Wallengren started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The supporters of FC Bors booed when Segmon IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dag Asserlind didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Charlie Lind had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 7th minute, Ludvig Rosin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to FC Bors getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Ove Askstedt hit a great ball. After 16 minutes, Charlie Lind made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. FC Bors's Kenny Jakobsson tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Edwin Wallengren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After recieving a nice pass, Segmon IF's Tomas Brolin tried to score from far away in the 26th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. A collision led to Segmon IF getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Charlie Lind hit a great ball. Kaj Åberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kenny Jakobsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kaj Åberg ran back to his position shaking his head. 44 minutes into the match, FC Bors's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Brolin came free, but Kenny Jakobsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Charlie Lind to make the kick off. Charlie Lind scored 2-0 in the 51st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kenny Jakobsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edwin Wallengren in the 58th minute of play forced Segmon IF's goalkeeper Thomas Ravelli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kenny Jakobsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kaj Åberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. After 60 played minutes FC Bors got a freekick which was hit by Lennart Harman. Segmon IF's Kaj Åberg got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thomas Ravelli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edwin Wallengren, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Segmon IF were furious when Dag Asserlind was red carded, 71 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 71 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Segmon IF! Edwin Wallengren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Thomas Ravelli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thomas Ravelli was a little too slow when Ove Askstedt got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 80th minute. The score was now 2-2. Kenny Jakobsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kaj Åberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Ove Askstedt charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ove Askstedt the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ove Askstedt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC Bors succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Segmon IF had controlled the match.
