After 4 minutes of play, Firma Barnängen's Gustaf Brummer made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tage Rang was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tage Rang showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ola Hansson, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. In the 9th minute, Jerry Bengtsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Firma Barnängen fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Sonny Karlstedt kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Conny Sundström was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 16th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 19th minute, Firma Barnängen's Alf Knutsson seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Alf Knutsson the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Firma Barnängen protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Alf Knutsson had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 19th minute, one of Firma Barnängen:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Firma Barnängen. Jerry Bengtsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tage Rang read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. Bertil Söderberg charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bertil Söderberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 27 played minutes Nykvarn got a freekick which was hit by Bertil Söderberg. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Gustaf Brummer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Firma Barnängen's supporters rose to their feet, but Gustaf Brummer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tage Rang breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 34th minute, Marko Ahlbom hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Gustaf Brummer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Firma Barnängen's supporters rose to their feet, but Gustaf Brummer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tage Rang breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tage Rang showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustaf Brummer in the 37th minute of the match. The supporters of Firma Barnängen booed when Nykvarn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Conny Sundström didn't get a good kick on the ball. 40 minutes into the game, Gustaf Brummer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Tage Rang was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Magne Brandin fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Firma Barnängen's protests and gave Magne Brandin a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Firma Barnängen getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Magne Brandin hit a great ball. Gustaf Brummer struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Tage Rang didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Firma Barnängen. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Henrik Hallgren to make the kick off. The supporters of Nykvarn booed when Firma Barnängen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustaf Brummer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gustaf Brummer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 57 minutes, Gustaf Brummer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Firma Barnängen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gustaf Brummer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Nykvarn's goalkeeper Tage Rang, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Firma Barnängen were awarded a corner in the 61th minute after Nykvarn's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ola Hansson took the corner. Tage Rang made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Gustaf Brummer sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 65 minutes, Gustaf Brummer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Firma Barnängen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gustaf Brummer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tage Rang didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gustaf Brummer went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Jerry Bengtsson took a quick shot and it went in 1-5 without a chance for Tage Rang to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henrik Hallgren in the 74th minute of play forced Firma Barnängen's goalkeeper Jimmie Ek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gustaf Brummer took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tage Rang. Tage Rang dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-6. After 79 minutes, Rasmus Moberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Firma Barnängen and the Nykvarn players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Firma Barnängen getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Rasmus Moberg hit a great ball. Jimmie Ek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henrik Hallgren in the 80th minute of play. Jimmie Ek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henrik Hallgren in the 83rd minute of the match. A collision led to Firma Barnängen getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Johannes Magnusson hit a great ball. After 85 played minutes, Nykvarn's Egil Back shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jimmie Ek came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Nykvarn reached it. If Gustaf Brummer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Jerry Bengtsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Firma Barnängen's supporters rose to their feet, but Jerry Bengtsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tage Rang breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gustaf Brummer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Jerry Bengtsson came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Firma Barnängen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jerry Bengtsson couldn't finish the play. When the match was over Firma Barnängen could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Nykvarn throughout the match.
