The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of FC NILS booed when Nykvarn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Conny Sundström didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Nykvarn getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. David Jönsson hit a great ball. Henrik Gallin kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Nykvarn's zone, Daniel Vesterberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tage Rang came out of the goal and Daniel Vesterberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Nykvarn's Tage Rang got control of the ball when Daniel Vesterberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Jönsson in the 37th minute of play forced FC NILS's goalkeeper Klas Åberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Greger Hedlund kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Nykvarn's David Jönsson got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 46 minutes into the match, Nykvarn's David Jönsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Klas Åberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

In the 56th minute, Greger Hedlund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniel Vesterberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tage Rang showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Vesterberg in the 59th minute of the match. Greger Hedlund hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. FC NILS's Andreas Skoog was substituted for Daniel Vesterberg. FC NILS made a substitution. A very good chance. 84 minutes into the match, Nykvarn's goal looked a bit too open when Andreas Skoog came free, but Tage Rang reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tage Rang took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andreas Skoog, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 94th minute, Andreas Skoog left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC NILS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Nykvarn's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
