An unexpectedly hard shot by Wiktor Karlstedt in the 3rd minute of play forced Polly Magoo Juniors's goalkeeper Joar Vallengren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 5 minutes into the match, Boris Söderberg notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Polly Magoo Juniors's Joar Vallengren. Joar Vallengren was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 7 minutes into the game, Bernt Brovall was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Polly Magoo Juniors's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Karlsborg the free kick. In the 7th minute, Bernt Brovall hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Polly Magoo Juniors's Joar Vallengren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wiktor Karlstedt in the 12th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Wiktor Karlstedt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joar Vallengren. Polly Magoo Juniors's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wiktor Karlstedt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 19th minute, Gunnar Olofsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joar Vallengren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wiktor Karlstedt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Karlsborg's Billy Hydén proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Karlsborg from getting a goal against them. After 25 played minutes Polly Magoo Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Börje Jonsson. Karlsborg's Wiktor Karlstedt suffered a sore thigh after 26 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 26 minutes, Sverker Kinnman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Polly Magoo Juniors and the Karlsborg players grew even worse after the yellow card. Joar Vallengren had in the 29thth minute some difficulties stopping Anton Sjögren's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The audience was convinced that Börje Jonsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Billy Hydén was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. 38 minutes into the match, Polly Magoo Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Rikard Sundström came free, but Joar Vallengren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joar Vallengren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rikard Sundström, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. In the 43rd match minute, Karlsborg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michael Pihlwall to maneuver through the defense. 46 minutes into the match, Polly Magoo Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Rikard Sundström came free, but Joar Vallengren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Rikard Sundström's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joar Vallengren was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. Joar Vallengren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michael Pihlwall, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Rikard Sundström made the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Boris Söderberg took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Joar Vallengren to make any attempt to save it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Boris Söderberg got free with Joar Vallengren in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Joar Vallengren was out of position in the 61 minute of play, and Rikard Sundström capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Rikard Sundström really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. Billy Hydén came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Polly Magoo Juniors's Fabian Näfver. But to his dismay, Fabian Näfver quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. Roger Österberg lost his temper 68 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 68 minutes into the game, one of Polly Magoo Juniors:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 71st minute there was a penalty for Karlsborg. Anton Sjögren stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Joar Vallengren. 2-5. 77 minutes into the match, Börje Jonsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Billy Hydén. Karlsborg's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Börje Jonsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-5. In the 81st minute Rikard Sundström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joar Vallengren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Börje Jonsson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Billy Hydén having to make a save. Billy Hydén took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Börje Jonsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 88 minutes in the game, Rikard Sundström fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Joar Vallengren having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Rikard Sundström kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Joar Vallengren. That made the score 3-6 in the 89 minute of play. Billy Hydén showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Börje Jonsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. In the 95th match minute, Polly Magoo Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sverker Kinnman to maneuver through the defense. The Karlsborg supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Karlsborg would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
