Spectators: 154 (Terracing: 116, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Karlsborg's Wiktor Karlstedt started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience was convinced that Sven-Ove Backman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Billy Hydén was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. Sven-Ove Backman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Billy Hydén having to interfere. In the 13th minute Orvar Blom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Billy Hydén saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orvar Blom in the 16th minute of play forced Karlsborg's goalkeeper Billy Hydén to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. William Backman lost his temper 24 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 24 minutes into the game, one of Average Joes:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Andréas Lundin, was totally fooled by Karlsborg's Anton Sjögren, who 26 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Jack Vennerberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 32nd minute, Karl-Johan Falkrans ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Billy Hydén was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Billy Hydén made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jack Vennerberg in the 35th minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Karlsborg's goal looked a bit too open when Orvar Blom came free, but Billy Hydén reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 40 played minutes Average Joes got a freekick which was hit by Orvar Blom. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Billy Hydén showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orvar Blom, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Andréas Lundin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wiktor Karlstedt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 62 minutes Average Joes's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Anton Sjögren who took care of the corner kick. Karlsborg's Anton Sjögren was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Andréas Lundin in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Karlsborg's Billy Hydén played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jack Vennerberg in the 65th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Jack Vennerberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Average Joes's supporters rose to their feet, but Jack Vennerberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Billy Hydén breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 71 minutes into the match, Jack Vennerberg notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Karlsborg's Billy Hydén. Billy Hydén was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Vilgot Lund's late challenge caught a Karlsborg's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vilgot Lund helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Average Joes getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Vilgot Lund hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Anton Sjögren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Karlsborg's supporters rose to their feet, but Anton Sjögren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andréas Lundin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Karlsborg's Billy Hydén played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orvar Blom in the 79th minute of play. In the 82nd minute, Tor Brolin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Boris Söderberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Andréas Lundin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. Boris Söderberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Andréas Lundin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 91 minutes, Orvar Blom managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Average Joes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Orvar Blom was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 93 minutes, Tage Pååk mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Average Joes and the Karlsborg players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 93rd minute of the game. One of Average Joes:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Karlsborg:s goal. The referee gave Karlsborg a penalty, 94 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Anton Sjögren, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Average Joes's Andréas Lundin. 2-2.
