The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 4th minute of the game. One of Käka Puck BK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of UÅ Mästerbotten:s goal. Niklas Ström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Casper Söderström, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Gösta Carlsson came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by UÅ Mästerbotten's Marcus Söderman. But to his dismay, Marcus Söderman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Käka Puck BK's Gösta Carlsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Forrest Gumpfer in the 16th minute of play. The supporters of Käka Puck BK booed when UÅ Mästerbotten was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arne Lagerberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Niklas Ström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roy Ström in the 23rd minute. The audience was convinced that Allan Odin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Niklas Ström was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. After 28 minutes of play, UÅ Mästerbotten's Marcus Söderman made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gösta Carlsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Forrest Gumpfer in the 42nd minute of play forced Käka Puck BK's goalkeeper Gösta Carlsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 45 minutes into the game, UÅ Mästerbotten's Forrest Gumpfer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gösta Carlsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Allan Odin made a kick off. Käka Puck BK's Gösta Carlsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Forrest Gumpfer in the 51st minute of play. In the 54th minute Roy Ström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niklas Ström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 56 played minutes UÅ Mästerbotten got a freekick which was hit by Forrest Gumpfer. UÅ Mästerbotten's Alexander Öberg was substituted for Karl Skytt. A collision led to UÅ Mästerbotten getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Forrest Gumpfer hit a great ball. Sven-Ove Wickander took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Niklas Ström. Niklas Ström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. The Käka Puck BK fans' excitement grew in the 63rd match minute when Käka Puck BK's Allan Odin looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Gösta Carlsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Forrest Gumpfer, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Marcus Söderman hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. In the 71st match minute, UÅ Mästerbotten was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven-Åke Kihlman to maneuver through the defense. UÅ Mästerbotten made a substitution. Orvar Gustafsson replaced Sven-Åke Kihlman. In the 72nd minute, Sven-Åke Kihlman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Niklas Ström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven-Ove Wickander in the 86th minute of the match. Gösta Carlsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Forrest Gumpfer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Käka Puck BK booed when UÅ Mästerbotten was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kennet Boström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Forrest Gumpfer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gösta Carlsson having to make a save. UÅ Mästerbotten succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Käka Puck BK had controlled the match.
