Spectators: 159 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Fredrik Skoglund kicked off to start the match. Per-Arne Nyberg's late challenge caught a FC Bodil United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Per-Arne Nyberg helped the player get up and apologised. In the 6th match minute, Oldham Athletic was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Per-Arne Nyberg to maneuver through the defense. Conny Gullesson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karl-Erik Fransson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Folke Smed showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lars-Erik Utfal, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Folke Smed didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 17th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. Folke Smed took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lars-Erik Utfal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fredrik Skoglund's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Folke Smed read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. In the 24th minute Karl-Erik Fransson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Conny Gullesson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 26 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Lars-Erik Utfal sped through Oldham Athletic's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Folke Smed. Folke Smed made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lars-Erik Utfal in the 30th minute of play. If Lars-Erik Utfal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bengt-Arne Samuelsson's late challenge caught a Oldham Athletic's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bengt-Arne Samuelsson helped the player get up and apologised. After 32 played minutes FC Bodil United got a freekick which was hit by Bengt-Arne Samuelsson. In the 33rd minute of the match Jimmy Linquist shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Conny Gullesson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Fredrik Skoglund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Folke Smed tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The FC Bodil United fans' excitement grew in the 37th match minute when FC Bodil United's Fredrik Skoglund looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Fredrik Skoglund charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fredrik Skoglund the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to FC Bodil United getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Fredrik Skoglund hit a great ball. Karl-Erik Fransson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Conny Gullesson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Karl-Erik Fransson to make the kick off. FC Bodil United's Conny Gullesson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Erik Fransson in the 52nd minute of play. Per-Erik Rydberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lars-Erik Utfal's late challenge caught a Oldham Athletic's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lars-Erik Utfal helped the player get up and apologised. If Fredrik Skoglund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 73rd minute Karl-Erik Fransson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Conny Gullesson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Conny Gullesson made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Per-Erik Rydberg sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Oldham Athletic booed when FC Bodil United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lars-Erik Utfal didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 97thth minute of the game Fredrik Skoglund who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Oldham Athletic's Folke Smed was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Oldham Athletic players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FC Bodil United.
