Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Hogans Heroes's Thor Mager started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd match minute, Hogans Heroes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jens-Åke Stenman to maneuver through the defense. In the 8th minute, Johan Fristedt made a precise shot to the right of Kristian Stålberg. Hogans Heroes's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Kristian Stålberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johan Fristedt, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. After 16 played minutes Sundborn IF got a freekick which was hit by Håkan Larsson. After a defensive mix-up in Sundborn IF's zone, Thor Mager stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rikard Lekberg came out of the goal and Thor Mager tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hogans Heroes's Kristian Stålberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Morgan Flinck in the 19th minute of play. Jens-Åke Stenman struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Rikard Lekberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hogans Heroes. In the 30th minute, Morgan Flinck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 31st minute Johan Fristedt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kristian Stålberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kristian Stålberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stefan Hellström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Håkan Larsson kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, Hogans Heroes's goal looked a bit too open when Morgan Flinck came free, but Kristian Stålberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 37th minute, Johan Fristedt left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sundborn IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Kristian Stålberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stefan Hellström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 43rd minute, Jarl Emander had to leave the field with a concussion. Sundborn IF made a substitution. Morgan Ivarsson replaced Jarl Emander. The supporters of Sundborn IF booed when Hogans Heroes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aleksander Söderqwist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stefan Hellström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kristian Stålberg having to interfere. Aleksander Söderqwist kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Stefan Hellström was the one to do the kick off. Torbjörn Bjurström kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. In the 54th minute, Ludwig Häger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Karl-Axel Skålberg was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 63 minutes into the match. 68 minutes into the match, Hogans Heroes's goal looked a bit too open when Stefan Hellström came free, but Kristian Stålberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kristian Stålberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johan Fristedt in the 70th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Sundborn IF's zone, Ludwig Häger stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rikard Lekberg came out of the goal and Ludwig Häger tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Sundborn IF booed when Hogans Heroes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boris Forsberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 83rd minute of the match Morgan Flinck sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kristian Stålberg skillfully saved the ball. Ludwig Häger took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rikard Lekberg. Rikard Lekberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-6. 93 minutes into the game, Sundborn IF's Johan Fristedt nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kristian Stålberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-7. Kristian Stålberg made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Morgan Flinck sent off a good shot on target. 98 minutes into the game, Johan Fristedt recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Kristian Stålberg. Johan Fristedt showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-8. When the match was over Sundborn IF could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Hogans Heroes throughout the match.
