Spectators: 158 (Terracing: 119, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) With splendid footwork Simon Hellkvist arrived in front of goal to shoot 1-0 by the left pole in the game's 4th minute. 8 minutes into the match, Oldham Athletic's goal looked a bit too open when Simon Hellkvist came free, but Folke Smed reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 23 minutes into the game, Oldham Athletic's Karl-Erik Fransson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sven Berglund made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Simon Hellkvist hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Sven Berglund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl-Erik Fransson in the 29th minute of the match. If Fredric Ahlkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th match minute, Ytterby FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mårten Wiklund to maneuver through the defense. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Karl-Erik Fransson was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Erik Fransson in the 52nd minute of play forced Ytterby FF's goalkeeper Sven Berglund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sven Berglund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Erik Fransson in the 54th minute of play. When Ytterby FF's Simon Hellkvist in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Oldham Athletic's goalie prevented a goal. Sven Berglund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Erik Fransson in the 63rd minute of play. Per-Erik Rydberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven Berglund having to interfere. Folke Smed came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Ytterby FF's Simon Hellkvist. But to his dismay, Simon Hellkvist quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Walter Höijer kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Simon Hellkvist's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Folke Smed was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. After 85 played minutes Ytterby FF got a freekick which was hit by Stig-Åke Brolin. Per-Erik Rydberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Sven Berglund made a huge save. In the 89th minute, Simon Hellkvist left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ytterby FF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Per-Erik Rydberg came free with the goalkeeper in the 96th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Sven Berglund could save by the left post. When the referee blew the final whistle, Ytterby FF could leave the field as winners, despite Oldham Athletic having more of the ball for most of the match.
