Here Comes the Hammer's Sverker Mellbad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stefan Landin in the 9th minute of play. In the 13th match minute, Here Comes the Hammer was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Birger Stabbe to maneuver through the defense. Stefan Landin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Sverker Mellbad made a huge save. In the 18th minute, Ted Kihlman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 19th minute Hjalmar Brodin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sverker Mellbad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Here Comes the Hammer's Sverker Mellbad got control of the ball when Göran Klint tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sverker Mellbad didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Brothers of Mercy's Stefan Landin shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Here Comes the Hammer's Sverker Mellbad proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Here Comes the Hammer from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tom Wester in the 26th minute of play forced Brothers of Mercy's goalkeeper Karl-Erik Kihlman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Brothers of Mercy's Stefan Landin suffered a sore foot after 29 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Brothers of Mercy's Svante Backman was substituted for Stefan Landin. The referee ignored Here Comes the Hammer's protests and gave Rolf Andreasson a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Here Comes the Hammer getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Rolf Andreasson hit a great ball. In the 47th minute Herbert Dahlquist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Erik Kihlman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Sverker Mellbad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Svante Backman in the 53rd minute of play. Sverker Mellbad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Svante Backman in the 56th minute of the match. In the 57th minute, Göran Klint hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Roy Hellkvist might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Karl-Erik Kihlman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tom Wester could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Karl-Erik Kihlman made a huge save. 69 minutes into the game, one of Brothers of Mercy:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Karl-Erik Kihlman went to the wrong direction when Herbert Dahlquist was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. 77 minutes into the match, Brothers of Mercy's goalkeeper Karl-Erik Kihlman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leonardo Åkesson. The supporters of Here Comes the Hammer booed when Brothers of Mercy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustav Forssberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sverker Mellbad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valentin Strömbom in the 96th minute of the match. Brothers of Mercy's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
