Rasmus Larsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anthon Gernberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th minute, Simon Hjortsberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. StraX Xenon FC's Rasmus Larsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Billy Hedin in the 36th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anthon Gernberg during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 37th minute, Anthon Gernberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. StraX Xenon FC's Rasmus Larsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anthon Gernberg in the 43rd minute of play. Georg Åkerberg hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. In the 45th minute, Nils Lindgren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 49 minutes into the match, StraX Xenon FC's goal looked a bit too open when Anthon Gernberg came free, but Rasmus Larsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The wind increased when Hans Isaksson made the kick off in the second half. Billy Hedins short, quick shot in the 58thth minute got Rasmus Larsson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Karl-Axel Malmgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hans Isaksson, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. 61 minutes into the match, StraX Xenon FC's goal looked a bit too open when Anthon Gernberg came free, but Rasmus Larsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Billy Hedin came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Mellbystrand IK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Billy Hedin couldn't finish the play. After 67 played minutes StraX Xenon FC got a freekick which was hit by Joachim Almstedt. Joachim Almstedt's late challenge caught a Mellbystrand IK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joachim Almstedt helped the player get up and apologised. Rasmus Larsson made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Edvin Lindström sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Mellbystrand IK's Billy Hedin got a free kick in the 76th minute. Karl-Axel Malmgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hans Isaksson, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. The supporters of StraX Xenon FC booed when Mellbystrand IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nils Lindgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hans Isaksson in the 87th minute of play forced Mellbystrand IK's goalkeeper Karl-Axel Malmgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the StraX Xenon FC defense, Billy Hedin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rasmus Larsson. The StraX Xenon FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rasmus Larsson should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hans Isaksson in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Karl-Axel Malmgren saved Mellbystrand IK from getting behind. Karl-Axel Malmgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hans Isaksson in the 96th minute of the match. Anthon Gernberg was extremely unlucky when he, in the 97th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Mellbystrand IK's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
