Spectators: 161 (Terracing: 121, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Albert Bergqvist started the match with the kick off. Viggo Vallin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Albert Bergqvist's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. After 8 minutes, Albert Bergqvist made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Mean Machine's Viggo Vallin tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 13th minute, Tommy Hedlund reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Karl-Johan Lekberg. The goal made the score 1-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tommy Hedlund in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Karl-Johan Lekberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sunkens Surtröjor's Karl-Johan Lekberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Sunkens Surtröjor from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Sunkens Surtröjor getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Olof Ryberg hit a great ball. In the 24th minute of the match, Tommy Hedlund got a very nice opportunity to score, but Karl-Johan Lekberg was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After a rather tough play, Sunkens Surtröjor's Ingvar Waller got a free kick in the 24th minute. The long shot by Folke Walmarsson in the 25th minute really tested Karl-Johan Lekberg's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 31 minutes into the match, Sunkens Surtröjor's goalkeeper Karl-Johan Lekberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tommy Hedlund. Tommy Hedlund could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Karl-Johan Lekberg made a huge save. Karl-Johan Lekberg was out of position in the 33 minute of play, and Tommy Hedlund capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tommy Hedlund really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. After 35 played minutes Sunkens Surtröjor got a freekick which was hit by Olof Ryberg. The long shot by Sonny Rosén in the 36th minute really tested Karl-Johan Lekberg's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After having played for 38 minutes, Staffan Falck managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sunkens Surtröjor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Staffan Falck was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mean Machine's goalkeeper Viggo Vallin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 41 minutes into the game, Albert Bergqvist cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Viggo Vallin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Karl Stenkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sonny Rosén made a kick off. A collision led to Mean Machine getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Tommy Hedlund hit a great ball. Viggo Vallin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Staffan Falck in the 57th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, Mean Machine's goal looked a bit too open when Staffan Falck came free, but Viggo Vallin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sunkens Surtröjor's Karl-Johan Lekberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tommy Hedlund in the 64th minute of play. With a little luck, Mean Machine's Viggo Vallin got control of the ball when Albert Bergqvist tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 68th minute, Tommy Hedlund ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Karl-Johan Lekberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Mean Machine made a substitution. Hubert Nordmark replaced Douglas Västerstrand. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henrik Söder in the 73rd minute of play forced Sunkens Surtröjor's goalkeeper Karl-Johan Lekberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sunkens Surtröjor's Karl-Johan Lekberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henrik Söder in the 75th minute of play. A collision led to Sunkens Surtröjor getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Ingvar Waller hit a great ball. Leif Dahlquist hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. In the 81st match minute, Mean Machine was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esbjörn Drake to maneuver through the defense. After 86 played minutes, Mean Machine's Hubert Nordmark shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Karl-Johan Lekberg came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mean Machine reached it. After 89 played minutes Mean Machine got a freekick which was hit by Hubert Nordmark. Henrik Söder scored 4-2 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Karl-Johan Lekberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Mean Machine's Hubert Nordmark got a free kick in the 95th minute. The Mean Machine players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
