Spectators: 162 (Terracing: 122, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Oakcroft Thrashers's Dan Wassenius started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 minutes of play, Meadow Village's Anton Västerstrand made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rickard Wennerström was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 6th match minute, Oakcroft Thrashers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stefan Asmundsson to maneuver through the defense. 13 minutes into the match, Oakcroft Thrashers's goal looked a bit too open when Jerry Stenqvist came free, but Rickard Wennerström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 14 minutes, Alex Albom mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Meadow Village and the Oakcroft Thrashers players grew even worse after the yellow card. Alex Albom kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Otto Hermansson in the 18th minute of play forced Oakcroft Thrashers's goalkeeper Rickard Wennerström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anton Västerstrand blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rickard Wennerström having to make a save. Stefan Asmundsson hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Rickard Wennerström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anton Västerstrand, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Jerry Stenqvist was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 24th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Anders Abrahamsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dan Wassenius in the 27th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tobias Jernberg got free with Anders Abrahamsson in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rickard Wennerström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerry Stenqvist in the 32nd minute of play. Stefan Asmundsson charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stefan Asmundsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Oakcroft Thrashers's Stefan Asmundsson got a free kick in the 34th minute. It was beautiful to see Meadow Village's Jerry Stenqvist in action when he in the 36th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! After 38 played minutes Meadow Village got a freekick which was hit by Tony Stenström. 41 minutes into the match, Meadow Village's goal looked a bit too open when Tobias Jernberg came free, but Anders Abrahamsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A hard shot by Tobias Berg from long distance, 43 minutes into the match, got Anders Abrahamsson's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Oakcroft Thrashers's Rickard Wennerström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerry Stenqvist in the 46th minute of play. Anton Västerstrand struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Rickard Wennerström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Meadow Village. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Stellan Lundström to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jerry Stenqvist got free with Rickard Wennerström in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rickard Wennerström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anton Västerstrand in the 53rd minute of the match. Tobias Berg charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tobias Berg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Oakcroft Thrashers getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Tobias Berg hit a great ball. Sten Jönsson kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Rickard Wennerström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stellan Lundström in the 63rd minute of the match. In the 65th match minute, Meadow Village was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anton Västerstrand to maneuver through the defense. After 67 minutes of play Oakcroft Thrashers's Stefan Asmundsson was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 67 played minutes Oakcroft Thrashers got a freekick which was hit by Stefan Asmundsson. Jerry Stenqvist scored 0-2 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rickard Wennerström, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stellan Lundström in the 78th minute of play forced Oakcroft Thrashers's goalkeeper Rickard Wennerström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 78th minute, Stellan Lundström made a precise shot to the right of Rickard Wennerström. Oakcroft Thrashers's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Oakcroft Thrashers's Rickard Wennerström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Oakcroft Thrashers from getting a goal against them. In the 91st minute, Tobias Berg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
