The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 13th minute of the game. One of Mean Machine:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC NORDLAND:s goal. In the 14th minute there was a penalty for FC NORDLAND. Bengt Falkrans stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Viggo Vallin. 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gabriel Klintæus got free with Viggo Vallin in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mean Machine's Viggo Vallin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Lundqvist in the 21st minute of play. The supporters of FC NORDLAND booed when Mean Machine was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kåre Malmgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gabriel Klintæus in the 24thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Mean Machine's supporters rose to their feet, but Sonny Rosén was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lukas Matsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Viggo Vallin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Håkan Wiklund, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Viggo Vallin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. 47 minutes into the match, Mean Machine's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Klintæus came free, but Viggo Vallin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-1.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tommy Hedlund to make the kick off. After 52 minutes, Sonny Rosén mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mean Machine and the FC NORDLAND players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sonny Rosén kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Viggo Vallin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel Klintæus in the 55th minute of play. The referee ignored FC NORDLAND's protests and gave Jan-Åke Nilsson a yellow card for diving instead. In the 81st minute, Jan-Åke Nilsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Mean Machine booed when FC NORDLAND was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan-Åke Nilsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 87 played minutes, Mean Machine's Hubert Nordmark shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Lukas Matsson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mean Machine reached it. Henrik Söder in the 91stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Lukas Matsson, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When the referee ended the match the FC NORDLAND players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
