Oakcroft Thrashers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ragnar Fribäck was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. In the 58th minute Ragnar Fribäck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rickard Wennerström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rickard Wennerström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olov Hellkvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 65th match minute, Oakcroft Thrashers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tage Tidén to maneuver through the defense. 70 minutes into the match, JKs Talanger's goal looked a bit too open when Tage Tidén came free, but Matthias Fransson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 85thth minute of the game Ragnar Fribäck who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Oakcroft Thrashers's Rickard Wennerström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Oakcroft Thrashers's Rickard Wennerström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claes Arenstedt in the 87th minute of play. Rickard Wennerström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ragnar Fribäck in the 93rd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. JKs Talanger had won after a very even match.
