Spectators: 159 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Andreas Stålberg took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the game, Kjell Zachrisson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Med Gang FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Stockholm IF the free kick. Kjell Zachrisson kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. The supporters of Med Gang FC booed when Stockholm IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Folke Alebom didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Stockholm IF's goalkeeper Kjell-Arne Palmquist, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Kjell-Arne Palmquist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ragnar Löfgren in the 11th minute of the match. Eric Eriksson kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Stockholm IF's Eric Eriksson got a free kick in the 17th minute. When Med Gang FC's Ragnar Löfgren in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 32nd minute, Mårten Bremming hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 38 played minutes Med Gang FC got a freekick which was hit by Jarl Eckegren. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ragnar Löfgren in the 48th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kjell-Arne Palmquist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ragnar Löfgren to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Med Gang FC's Jarl Eckegren got a free kick in the 51st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ragnar Löfgren got free with Kjell-Arne Palmquist in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Stockholm IF's Kjell-Arne Palmquist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ragnar Löfgren in the 56th minute of play. In the 80th minute, Folke Alebom left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Stockholm IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Ragnar Löfgren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Kjell-Arne Palmquist made a huge save. Sebastian Aspengren took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 93rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Harry Axelsson. Med Gang FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.
