Börje Ahlstedt blasted a shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jan Wallin having to make a save. Jan Wallin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Börje Ahlstedt, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Erik Sigman was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Kennet Höijer showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 10 minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Börje Ahlstedt in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jan Wallin saved Brutal DeLuxe from getting behind. After 24 played minutes Brutal DeLuxe got a freekick which was hit by Petter Håkansson. In the 26th match minute, Brutal DeLuxe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Torbjörn Jelm to maneuver through the defense. Jan Wallin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Börje Ahlstedt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Brutal DeLuxe's supporters rose to their feet, but Alvar Larsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erik Sigman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jon Dusett charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jon Dusett the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 39thth minute of the game Börje Ahlstedt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Brutal DeLuxe's Jan Wallin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bengt-Åke Bengtsson hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Brutal DeLuxe defense, Börje Ahlstedt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jan Wallin. The Brutal DeLuxe fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jan Wallin should have stopped the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kennet Höijer was the one to do the kick off. Jan Wallin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Börje Ahlstedt in the 54th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvar Larsson in the 56th minute of play forced AC Kingriver-Ljungsarp RK's goalkeeper Erik Sigman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Karl-Erik Isaksson's late challenge caught a Brutal DeLuxe's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Karl-Erik Isaksson helped the player get up and apologised. The referee ignored Brutal DeLuxe's protests and gave Bengt-Åke Bengtsson a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Brutal DeLuxe getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Bengt-Åke Bengtsson hit a great ball. Torbjörn Jelm blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Erik Sigman having to make a save. 66 minutes into the game, Kennet Höijer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Erik Sigman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 71st minute, Börje Ahlstedt fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Jan Wallin, passed just outside the right post. Börje Ahlstedts short, quick shot in the 73rdth minute got Jan Wallin to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The supporters of Brutal DeLuxe booed when AC Kingriver-Ljungsarp RK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Börje Ahlstedt didn't get a good kick on the ball. 84 minutes into the match, Kennet Höijer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Erik Sigman. AC Kingriver-Ljungsarp RK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kennet Höijer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. In the 90th minute Kennet Höijer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erik Sigman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in AC Kingriver-Ljungsarp RK's zone, Alvar Larsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erik Sigman came out of the goal and Alvar Larsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 93 minutes into the match, AC Kingriver-Ljungsarp RK's goal looked a bit too open when Kennet Höijer came free, but Erik Sigman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
