In the 5th minute Arne Österlund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alf Gadd saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 14 minutes into the match, Blåvitt's goal looked a bit too open when Filiph Ek came free, but Alf Gadd reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22nd minute Marc Hökqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kevin Wallengren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 23rd minute Georg Lindman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kevin Wallengren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Blåvitt's Alf Gadd proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Blåvitt from getting a goal against them. Vännäsby BF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Blåvitt the free kick. A collision led to Vännäsby BF getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Folke Skräddare hit a great ball. In the 39th minute, Ola Wallman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 46th minute Marc Hökqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kevin Wallengren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arne Österlund to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Filiph Ek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alf Gadd saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Blåvitt's Alf Gadd played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arne Österlund in the 56th minute of play. If Marc Hökqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 65 minutes into the match, Vännäsby BF's goal looked a bit too open when Marc Hökqvist came free, but Kevin Wallengren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kevin Wallengren came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Blåvitt's Marc Hökqvist. But to his dismay, Marc Hökqvist quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Arne Österlund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 71 minutes into the match, Vännäsby BF's Arne Löfskog sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alf Gadd narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Georg Lindman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Kevin Wallengren made a huge save. Morgan Lundgren kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. In the 76thth minute of the game Arne Österlund who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Blåvitt's Alf Gadd was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 79 played minutes Blåvitt got a freekick which was hit by Conny Björnsson. Filiph Ek hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Marc Hökqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kevin Wallengren having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Blåvitt's Karl-Ove Skark got a free kick in the 86th minute. Vännäsby BF's Filiph Ek got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kenny Vallgren kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. In the 93rd minute, Arne Österlund ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alf Gadd was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
