Sledgehammer KO's Bengt Abrahamsson suffered a sore thigh after 3 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 3 minutes into the game, Stig-Åke Lindsten was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rörvik BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sledgehammer KO the free kick. Sledgehammer KO made a substitution. Torbjörn Uggstedt replaced Bengt Abrahamsson. The supporters of Sledgehammer KO booed when Rörvik BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stig-Åke Lindsten didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonatan Målare hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. In the 9th minute, Sledgehammer KO's Svante Wikander seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Svante Wikander the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Sledgehammer KO protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Svante Wikander had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Patrik Söderman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 13 minutes into the match, Joseph Jernberg dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Sonny Holm, 1-0. Stig-Åke Lindsten kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. After 26 played minutes Rörvik BK got a freekick which was hit by Patrik Söderman. When Pontus Törnqvist came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Sledgehammer KO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pontus Törnqvist couldn't finish the play. Sonny Holm made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rudolf Vibjörnsson in the 32nd minute. Tony Gregersson kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. After having played for 34 minutes, Patrik Söderman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rörvik BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patrik Söderman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Rörvik BK getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Hugo Lund hit a great ball. After 37 played minutes, Sledgehammer KO's Pontus Törnqvist shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mikael Västlund came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sledgehammer KO reached it. Esbjörn Alfors hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. After 46 played minutes, Sledgehammer KO's Pontus Törnqvist shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mikael Västlund came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sledgehammer KO reached it. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rudolf Vibjörnsson was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Rörvik BK booed when Sledgehammer KO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gottfrid Ivarsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 57th match minute, Rörvik BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patrik Söderman to maneuver through the defense. Sonny Holm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patrik Söderman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Torbjörn Uggstedt took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mikael Västlund. Mikael Västlund dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. If Pontus Törnqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Torbjörn Uggstedt in the 81st minute of play forced Rörvik BK's goalkeeper Mikael Västlund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Joseph Jernberg came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Rörvik BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joseph Jernberg couldn't finish the play. 92 minutes into the match, Sledgehammer KO's goal looked a bit too open when Patrik Söderman came free, but Sonny Holm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
