Kennet Höijer's late challenge caught a Eleven Nation Army's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kennet Höijer helped the player get up and apologised. In the 4th minute, Kennet Höijer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 7th minute Edward Petersson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joakim Lilja saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Brutal DeLuxe booed when Eleven Nation Army was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dag Classon didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 19th match minute, Brutal DeLuxe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfons Alrot to maneuver through the defense. In the 22nd minute, Kennet Höijer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 25th minute, Edward Petersson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aleksander Brander was extremely unlucky when he, in the 26th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Holger Brovall charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Holger Brovall the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Kennet Höijer put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Joakim Lilja. Kent Målare hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Alfons Alrot, 37 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 39th minute Kennet Höijer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joakim Lilja saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Alvar Larsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brutal DeLuxe's supporters rose to their feet, but Alvar Larsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joakim Lilja breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aleksander Brander might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jan Wallin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Conny Widberg was the one to do the kick off. Brutal DeLuxe's Edward Petersson got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kennet Höijer in the 55th minute of play forced Eleven Nation Army's goalkeeper Joakim Lilja to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Brutal DeLuxe's goalkeeper Jan Wallin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 61 minutes into the game, Sverker Mellbad was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Brutal DeLuxe's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Eleven Nation Army the free kick. Edward Petersson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Joakim Lilja tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Brutal DeLuxe booed when Eleven Nation Army was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kevin Nordlander didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Kennet Höijer came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Brutal DeLuxe fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kennet Höijer couldn't finish the play. If Conny Widberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Brutal DeLuxe's goalkeeper Jan Wallin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alvar Larsson hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Brutal DeLuxe's Jan Wallin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aleksander Brander in the 90th minute of play.
