Strömsbro IF:s Sven-Arne Spets showed great skill when he stopped Bengt-Åke Alebeck:s penalty. After a rather tough play, Strömsbro IF's Hjalmar Ahlén got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 10th minute Rutger Godholm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven-Arne Spets saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonatan Rydelius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivan Billberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hjalmar Ahlén during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 15th minute of the match Bengt-Åke Alebeck sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sven-Arne Spets skillfully saved the ball. 16 minutes into the game, Jens-Ove Berg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fomac FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Strömsbro IF the free kick. The supporters of Strömsbro IF booed when Fomac FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jens-Ove Berg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rune Thidén hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. After 23 minutes of play, Fomac FK's Rutger Godholm made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sven-Arne Spets was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 28th match minute, Fomac FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hans Strömberg to maneuver through the defense. After 30 minutes of play, Fomac FK's Carl Kjellqvist made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sven-Arne Spets was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sven-Arne Spets was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Rutger Godholm showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-1 in the 34 minute of play. In the 37th minute of the match, Carl Kjellqvist got a very nice opportunity to score, but Sven-Arne Spets was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-1 at half-time.

Jonatan Rydelius made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ivan Billberg in the 56th minute. Bengt-Åke Alebeck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven-Arne Spets having to interfere. 60 minutes into the game, Felix Ekrot threw the ball into play from the sideline. Fomac FK's Stig-Arne Stigsson quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Sven-Arne Spets showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bengt-Åke Alebeck in the 62nd minute of the match. Bengt-Åke Alebeck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven-Arne Spets having to interfere. Rutger Godholm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven-Arne Spets having to interfere. Rutger Godholm received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Sven-Arne Spets tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonatan Rydelius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivan Billberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
