Spectators: 161 (Terracing: 121, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jörgen Nyqvist took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 7th minute Ivan Billberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Josef Hafström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernt Löfskog sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Josef Hafström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivan Billberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Melchester Rovers getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Björn Norberg hit a great ball. In the 15th match minute, Melchester Rovers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Walter Nyman to maneuver through the defense. Pelle Andreasson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernt Holmberg in the 19th minute of play. Ivan Billberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Josef Hafström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ivan Billberg ran back to his position shaking his head. After 31 minutes of play, Strömsbro IF's Ivan Billberg made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Josef Hafström was left in no man's land by his defense there! Strömsbro IF's Oskar Pihlgren got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match clock showed 35 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Ivan Billberg sped through Melchester Rovers's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Josef Hafström. Nils-Åke Telin hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Melchester Rovers's Josef Hafström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivan Billberg in the 43rd minute of play. The Melchester Rovers players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Strömsbro IF were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joacim Bäcklin to strike the kick off in the second half. Walter Nyman got a throw-in 54 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Joar Pi. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Rickard Söder managed to get in a good position for a shot. Strömsbro IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Rickard Söder was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Josef Hafström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 62nd minute of the match Bernt Holmberg shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pelle Andreasson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 64th minute Bernt Holmberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pelle Andreasson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Strömsbro IF getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Jan-Erik Ingemarsson hit a great ball. In the 68th minute of the match Bernt Holmberg shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pelle Andreasson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The throw-in from Joar Pi in the 85th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Strömsbro IF's Rickard Söder. After 88 minutes, Rickard Söder mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Strömsbro IF and the Melchester Rovers players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rickard Söder kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Pelle Andreasson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joacim Bäcklin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ivan Billberg hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. 96 minutes into the match, Melchester Rovers's Bernt Holmberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pelle Andreasson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Strömsbro IF had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
