With a little luck, Elefanterna's Axel Häll got control of the ball when Jörn Hermansson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Elefanterna's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Jörn Hermansson 6 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. 10 minutes into the match, Jörn Hermansson dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Axel Häll, 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ivan Billberg got free with Axel Häll in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Strömsbro IF's zone, Harry Stenqvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pelle Andreasson came out of the goal and Harry Stenqvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 18 minutes into the game, Elefanterna's Harry Stenqvist nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pelle Andreasson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Strömsbro IF's goalkeeper Pelle Andreasson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Harry Stenqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pelle Andreasson having to interfere. In the 27th minute Sivert Ström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pelle Andreasson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 37 minutes, Ivan Billberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Strömsbro IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ivan Billberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pelle Andreasson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Harry Stenqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sivert Ström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Pelle Andreasson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 46 minutes into the match, Strömsbro IF's goal looked a bit too open when Harry Stenqvist came free, but Pelle Andreasson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jan-Erik Ingemarsson during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 47 played minutes Strömsbro IF got a freekick which was hit by Jan-Erik Ingemarsson.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jörn Hermansson to make the kick off. Elefanterna's Axel Häll played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivan Billberg in the 52nd minute of play. In the 57th minute, Ivan Billberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 63rd minute Oskar Pihlgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Axel Häll saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 67 minutes into the game, Jörn Hermansson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Strömsbro IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Elefanterna the free kick. The long shot by Ragnar Salkvist in the 68th minute really tested Pelle Andreasson's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After 77 played minutes Strömsbro IF got a freekick which was hit by Oskar Pihlgren. Sivert Ström made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 78thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Pelle Andreasson would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. 87 minutes into the game, Ivan Billberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Axel Häll was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Strömsbro IF's Pelle Andreasson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Strömsbro IF from getting a goal against them. Strömsbro IF were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Elefanterna for a fine match.
