Pelle Andreasson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfred Axelsson in the 19th minute of the match. In the 22nd minute Ivan Billberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aleksander Eliasson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aleksander Eliasson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivan Billberg in the 25th minute of play. In the 27th minute, Strömsbro IF's Ivan Billberg dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Jörn Hermansson struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Aleksander Eliasson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Strömsbro IF. 33 minutes into the game, Anthon Sjödin threw the ball into play from the sideline. Strömsbro IF's Rickard Söder quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Rickard Söder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aleksander Eliasson having to interfere. Elof Lund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in DFP's zone, Jörn Hermansson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aleksander Eliasson came out of the goal and Jörn Hermansson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 49th minute Marcus Dahlberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pelle Andreasson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alfred Axelsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Pelle Andreasson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alfred Axelsson in the 53rd minute. Pelle Andreasson was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Alfred Axelsson showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 53 minute of play. Aleksander Eliasson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivan Billberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Oskar Pihlgren during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 66 played minutes Strömsbro IF got a freekick which was hit by Oskar Pihlgren. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan-Erik Ingemarsson in the 76th minute of play forced DFP's goalkeeper Aleksander Eliasson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 79th match minute, Strömsbro IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oskar Pihlgren to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of DFP booed when Strömsbro IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hjalmar Ahlén didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pelle Andreasson made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Alfred Axelsson sent off a good shot on target. After 92 minutes of play Strömsbro IF's Oskar Pihlgren was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. During the 96th minute of the match Hjalmar Ahlén completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Hjalmar Ahlén a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game.
