After 11 played minutes Lillhärdal BF got a freekick which was hit by Örjan Wållander. In the 13th minute, Herman Falkrantz made a precise shot to the right of Allan Palmkvist. Lillhärdal BF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Ian Ekström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Allan Palmkvist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Allan Palmkvist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Herman Falkrantz's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. Ove Björck hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Herman Falkrantz in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Allan Palmkvist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lillhärdal BF's Allan Palmkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven-Ove Berggren in the 38th minute of play. Elmtaryd Agunnaryd's Ted Kiempe got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Herman Falkrantz in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Allan Palmkvist saved Lillhärdal BF from getting behind. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Allan Palmkvist was a little too slow when Sven-Ove Berggren got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 51st minute. The score was now 0-2. Elmtaryd Agunnaryd's Herman Falkrantz got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
