After having played for 3 minutes, Ludvig Eklund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Boys's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ludvig Eklund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 7th minute Kurt-Jürgen Hamrin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ralf Strömberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 7 minutes into the game, Kurt-Jürgen Hamrin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ralf Strömberg. Kurt-Jürgen Hamrin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Ola Hafström's late challenge caught a Elmtaryd Agunnaryd's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ola Hafström helped the player get up and apologised. 14 minutes into the match, Herman Falkrantz notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of La Boys's Ralf Strömberg. Ralf Strömberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Kurt-Jürgen Hamrin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Ralf Strömberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. John Brandt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sven-Ove Berggren was shown his second yellow card after 45 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match.

Niklas Almkvist charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Niklas Almkvist the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Elmtaryd Agunnaryd booed when La Boys was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niklas Almkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 87th match minute, Elmtaryd Agunnaryd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henrik Berggren to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kurt-Jürgen Hamrin in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ralf Strömberg saved La Boys from getting behind.
