Bo Allbom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 8th minute, Edmund Borre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jimmie Vennerlund recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 18th minute, Sven-Åke Markusson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 22nd match minute, Hawk Tuah FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Per-Erik Brun to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Ciudad Tao FC's Jonathan Wahlström tried to score from far away in the 22nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 25th minute, Ciudad Tao FC's Jonny Hansson ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Eddie Bergström. Eddie Bergström yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jonny Hansson got free with Eddie Bergström in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 35th minute, Esbjörn Isaksson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 37th minute of the match Jonathan Wahlström shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eddie Bergström showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Jimmie Vennerlund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jimmie Vennerlund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eddie Bergström having to interfere. In the 45th match minute, Ciudad Tao FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven-Åke Markusson to maneuver through the defense. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Göran Eskilsson made a kick off. After 51 minutes, Tommy Dalström mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hawk Tuah FC and the Ciudad Tao FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Tommy Dalström kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Bo Allbom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Ciudad Tao FC's Charlie Gustavsson got control of the ball when Herman Nyman tried to sneak it across the goal line. Charlie Gustavsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernt Ödman in the 56th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonny Hansson in the 58th minute of play forced Hawk Tuah FC's goalkeeper Eddie Bergström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 61 minutes, Henry Blomqvist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ciudad Tao FC and the Hawk Tuah FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Timmy Ström fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hawk Tuah FC's protests and gave Timmy Ström a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Hawk Tuah FC's Timmy Ström got a free kick in the 65th minute. Charlie Gustavsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Göran Eskilsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. 68 minutes into the match, Ciudad Tao FC's Jonny Hansson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eddie Bergström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Göran Eskilsson got free with Charlie Gustavsson in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 75 minutes into the match, Göran Eskilsson dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Charlie Gustavsson, 1-1. Herman Nyman came free with the goalkeeper in the 83rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Charlie Gustavsson could save by the left post. Eddie Bergström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonny Hansson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Hawk Tuah FC's Göran Eskilsson got a free kick in the 85th minute. Jonny Hansson took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eddie Bergström. Eddie Bergström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. If Jonny Hansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Ciudad Tao FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Hawk Tuah FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
