After 9 played minutes, Wyoming Cowboys's Edvin Jönsätt shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Michael Glad came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Wyoming Cowboys reached it. Michael Glad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kim Ekman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Little Big were awarded a corner in the 19th minute after Wyoming Cowboys's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Håkan Holmberg took the corner. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kim Ekman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gustaf Spetz during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ingvar Isaksson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Viggo Berg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. In the 85th minute Ingvar Isaksson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Viggo Berg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
