Spectators: 160 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Ingvar Sundström made the kick off and thus started the match. Birger Hedman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tage Kleen in the 3rd minute of the match. In the 6th minute, Arne Hellström left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hartlepool fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Hartlepool's Ingvar Sundström got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 14th minute Edvard Tunström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Birger Hedman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 16th play minutes Edvard Tunström shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Birger Hedman and just under the crossbar into goal. Tage Kleen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 39 minutes into the match, Hartlepool's Fred Dalgren broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Fred Dalgren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hartlepool's supporters rose to their feet, but Fred Dalgren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Magne Lundström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ingvar Sundström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Magne Lundström having to interfere. Birger Hedman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kent Sander in the 47th minute of the match. Ingvar Sundström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edvard Tunström to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fritz Lövkvist during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Fritz Lövkvist hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. In the 54th minute, Tage Kleen sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Hartlepool's Birger Hedman didn't even have to move. Rikard Hake scored 2-1 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Magne Lundström, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ingvar Sundström in the 62nd minute of play forced Liden FF's goalkeeper Magne Lundström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 64 minutes into the match, Tage Kleen dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Birger Hedman, 2-2. Edvard Tunström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Birger Hedman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hartlepool's Birger Hedman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Hartlepool from getting a goal against them. Hartlepool's defense didn't have a chance, in the 73rd minute, when Edvard Tunström scored to the left of an out of position Birger Hedman, making the score, 2-3. Magne Lundström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rikard Hake, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Egil Jansson charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Egil Jansson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Egil Jansson hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Fritz Lövkvist got his second yellow card in the match during the 83rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 84 played minutes Hartlepool got a freekick which was hit by Fritz Lövkvist. With an all-out effort, Liden FF's Birger Hedman threw himself towards the right post 91 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tage Kleen, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 93 minutes into the game, Ingvar Sundström cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-3. Magne Lundström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Liden FF's Tage Kleen got a free kick in the 96th minute. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
