Sannegården BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Nils-Emil Björkdal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Filiph Hedling breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Karl-Ove Barck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Fritz Bållström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Golden Lions FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sannegården BK the free kick. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fritz Bållström showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.
