Bengt-Rune Glanselius didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marc Eklund went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Henry Forsberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Jonasson, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Marc Eklund charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marc Eklund the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Marc Eklund kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Henry Forsberg made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Tomas Jonasson sent off a good shot on target. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

After 55 played minutes Di Röe got a freekick which was hit by Tommy Bengtsson. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Paul Örn managed to get in a good position for a shot. Juoksengi's supporters rose to their feet, but Paul Örn was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Henry Forsberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Juoksengi booed when Di Röe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olov Kihlman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Juoksengi made a substitution. Christian Morat replaced Jerry Lund. Juoksengi's Andy Stenman was substituted for Paul Bock. A collision led to Di Röe getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Olov Kihlman hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Di Röe's zone, Paul Örn stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Henry Forsberg came out of the goal and Paul Örn tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Henry Forsberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paul Örn in the 70th minute of the match. When Isac Norström came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Di Röe fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isac Norström couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marc Eklund in the 78th minute of play forced Juoksengi's goalkeeper Bengt-Rune Glanselius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Johannes Viberg during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Johannes Viberg kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Juoksengi's zone, Marc Eklund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. The Di Röe players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Juoksengi from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
