The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Arvid Gulliksson scored 0-1 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Adrian Dusett, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 7th minute Frank Strömberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrian Dusett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Torsten Carlberg fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pihl United's protests and gave Torsten Carlberg a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Supreme FC booed when Pihl United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Torsten Carlberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Arvid Gulliksson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Supreme FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Arvid Gulliksson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adrian Dusett breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 13th minute, Frank Strömberg made a precise shot to the right of Adrian Dusett. Pihl United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 16th match minute, Supreme FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frank Strömberg to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Supreme FC's Sven-Arne Persson got control of the ball when Torsten Carlberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pihl United's Adrian Dusett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Strömberg in the 23rd minute of play. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Billy Göransson to make the kick off. After 97 played minutes Pihl United got a freekick which was hit by Gunnar Söderström. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Supreme FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
