Peace Home Street Boys's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Digital Monsterz FC the free kick. The supporters of Digital Monsterz FC booed when Peace Home Street Boys was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Egil Åberg hit a great ball. Sixten Molander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gunnar Vassenius in the 37th minute of the match. Digital Monsterz FC's Bertil Skarkman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eddie Johansson in the 38th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dan Backman during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Digital Monsterz FC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Dan Backman hit a great ball. 44 minutes into the match, Peace Home Street Boys's Inge Flinck broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Inge Flinck made a kick off. When Egil Åberg was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 76 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Peace Home Street Boys's Egil Åberg got a free kick in the 77th minute. Charles Julin might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bertil Skarkman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
