David Lindell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eddie Flinck, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. 19 minutes into the game, Bertil Henriksson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of David Lindell. Bertil Henriksson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jens-Erik Giöck got free with David Lindell in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 24th minute Claes Stålberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bertil Skarkman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bertil Henriksson got free with David Lindell in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eddie Flinck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. David Lindell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 31 played minutes Börna Bulldogs got a freekick which was hit by Jesper Ahlqvist. The audience was convinced that Henrik Godholm's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bertil Skarkman was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. Emil Alström struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Bertil Skarkman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Börna Bulldogs. Börna Bulldogs's David Lindell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gunnar Vassenius in the 46th minute of play. 46 minutes in the game, Gunnar Vassenius dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bertil Henriksson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Digital Monsterz FC booed when Börna Bulldogs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jesper Ahlqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Börna Bulldogs fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that David Lindell should have stopped the shot. Eddie Flinck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Lindell having to interfere. Josef Gallin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bertil Skarkman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. In the 85th match minute, Digital Monsterz FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jakob Lind to maneuver through the defense. Henrik Godholm received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Bertil Skarkman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 90 minutes, Jens-Erik Giöck mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Digital Monsterz FC and the Börna Bulldogs players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jens-Erik Giöck kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gunnar Vassenius in the 93rd minute of play forced Börna Bulldogs's goalkeeper David Lindell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. David Lindell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jens-Erik Giöck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 95 minutes into the match, Digital Monsterz FC's goalkeeper Bertil Skarkman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Henrik Godholm. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Digital Monsterz FC fully deserved thier win.
