Tim Jakobsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 18th minute Göran Falck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tor Lundberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sebastian Skarkman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kjell Stolpe in the 22nd minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, The Northmen Army's goal looked a bit too open when Isak Billock came free, but Sebastian Skarkman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 29 minutes into the game, Hummerfiskarna's Kjell Stolpe nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sebastian Skarkman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 32 minutes into the match, The Northmen Army's goal looked a bit too open when Eric Lövgren came free, but Sebastian Skarkman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, Isak Billock had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sebastian Skarkman. The Northmen Army's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Isak Billock was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After the first half Hummerfiskarna were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kjell Stolpe stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sebastian Skarkman was a little too slow when Kjell Stolpe got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 52nd minute. The score was now 0-3. After a defensive mix-up in The Northmen Army's zone, Isak Billock stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sebastian Skarkman came out of the goal and Isak Billock tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Magnus Säfström kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. 58 minutes into the match, The Northmen Army's goalkeeper Sebastian Skarkman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isak Billock. In the 64th match minute, Hummerfiskarna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Otto Siöman to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Hummerfiskarna's zone, Vilgot Dahlman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tor Lundberg came out of the goal and Vilgot Dahlman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Isak Billock got free with Sebastian Skarkman in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Christoffer Strand hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Stig Lindqvist's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tor Lundberg was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. Sebastian Skarkman made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Kjell Stolpe sent off a good shot on target. Tor Lundberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kent Sandström in the 84th minute of play. When Isak Billock fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hummerfiskarna's protests and gave Isak Billock a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Hummerfiskarna getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Isak Billock hit a great ball. In the 93rd minute Kjell Stolpe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastian Skarkman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tor Lundberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Göran Falck, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. The Hummerfiskarna supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Hummerfiskarna would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
