GoooooL's Dinu Lechințan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adam Rednic in the 14th minute of play. Aurelian Encea who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 17thth minute tested the skills of Horea Hurmuzache when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Dinu Lechințan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Remus Șerbulea, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Ioan Burdea charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ioan Burdea the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 21 minutes into the match, GoooooL's goal looked a bit too open when Eugen Bobocea came free, but Dinu Lechințan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edgar Râznicu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Horea Hurmuzache tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half DINAMO were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The ball went over the crossbar instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Adam Rednic kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dinu Lechințan. That made the score 0-3 in the 75 minute of play. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Adam Rednic took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Dinu Lechințan to make any attempt to save it. Dinu Lechințan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adam Rednic went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. Edgar Râznicu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horea Hurmuzache having to interfere. Edgar Râznicu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Horea Hurmuzache read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. When the final whistle sounded DINAMO left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than GoooooL.
